The University City Duathlon is a new multisport event, being hosted by Charlotte Sports Cycling, University City Partners, and Beacon Partners, which weaves through the greenways of University City's research park.  The race begins with a 5K run through the greenway, followed by a 19K bike on the roads around the research park, and ends with a 3K run that again utilizes the greenway.  This is a semi-hilly course, which makes it a challenging ride for veterans and a great race for novice athletes!
