We are proud to announce the recipients of the 2003 Evergreen-Easton-Clif Bar Cycling Team scholarships.  The scholarships are a reward for each young cyclist who has excelled on and off the bike during the 2003 season. All of the Evergreen-Easton-Clif Bar young athletes have been an inspiration to work with and ambassadors to the sport and the organization.   On the bike, they have continually strived to train, educate, and challenge themselves, while off the bike, each cyclist has supported the organization through volunteering and devoting time to promote cycling through events, advocacy, and educational programs. It was a tough decision, but we had to narrow down the scholarships to three athletes. Each recipient will receive a $400 scholarship to be used towards a college education.

Ø        Wesley Satterwhite, a twelve year old 9^th grader at Weddington Middle School
Ø        Greg Powell, a seventeen year old 11^th grader at Myers Park High School
Ø        Will Hoffarth an eighteen year old 2003 graduate of  JM Robinson High School.  

The Evergreen-Easton-Clif Bar Cycling Team and the Charlotte Sports Cycling organization strive to be leaders in the community and the cycling industry. Through the support of our sponsors and the members of the organization,  we achieve our goals and continue to grow each and every year.
