Bikes on CATS
Busses and LYNX Train for FREE
| The Charlotte Area Transportation System is allowing bicycles on
CATS Busses and the LYNX Train free, May 4-10, during BIKE! Charlotte.
Using the bicycle, in combination with a CATS Bus or the LYNX Train, is
an efficient, inexpensive, and environmentally friendly way to travel in
the Queen City. For information, including a video on how to
load your bike on the bus, visit the Rack and Ride program on the
CATS website. For information on how to load you bike on the
LYNX Train, you can visit the Rack and Ride section of the
LYNX website.

History Day – FREE MUSEUM ENTRY

Ride with the
Cannonballs Cycling Team
Come join the guys and gals from Cannonballs Cycling Team for a fun
urban ride. The ride will start at the Booty Loop at 6:00 ( meet at the
Myers Park Presbyterian Church Parking lot @ Queens Rd & Providence Rd)
. A moderate paced ride, looping the Loop and then a southern tangent to
Carmel Rd & back via Quail Hollow - Sharon Rd. Ride distance is 20
miles.

Kids Bicycle
Safety and Educational Rodeo |
Kids
Bicycle Safety Rodeos are designed to educate children of all ages
about bicycle safety. Bikes for children ages 8 to 12 are provided
at the event. A limited supply of FREE helmets will be given to
kids who participate in the rodeos. Hosted by Levine Jewish
Community Center and Charlotte Sports Cycling

FREE Bike Demos
Have you ever wanted to test ride a carbon road bike or mountain bike?
SouthPark Cycles will be providing free three hour test rides on the
nicest carbon road bicycles in the market from Bianchi and Pinerallo and
mountain bikes from Tomac and Kona. Just stop by and pick up a bike.
