Bikes on CATS
Busses and LYNX Train for FREE
| The Charlotte Area Transportation System is allowing bicycles on
CATS Busses and the LYNX Train free, May 4-10, during BIKE! Charlotte.
Using the bicycle, in combination with a CATS Bus or the LYNX Train, is
an efficient, inexpensive, and environmentally friendly way to travel in
the Queen City. For information, including a video on how to
load your bike on the bus, visit the Rack and Ride program on the
CATS website. For information on how to load you bike on the
LYNX Train, you can visit the Rack and Ride section of the
LYNX website.

Tour de Trees
Casual guided ride through Historic areas of Charlotte with emphasis on
champion and unusual trees in the inner City. Space is limited for the 1
½- 2 hour tour; reservations required. Please RSVP with Patrick George.
Must be 13 or older and accompanied by an adult.

BAC Tour of Bicycle
Facilities
Ride with the City/County Bicycle Advisory Committee on a 5 mile bike
tour of facilities helping to improve the city's bicycle environment.
Space is limited to the first 20 participants for each ride. Please RSVP

The Brain Ride
The Inaugural Brain Ride presented by the Outdoorlights.com Cycling Team
is a supported recreational bike ride designed to attract all cycling
enthusiast and will benefit the Brain Tumor Fund for the Carolinas.

Spamerton Bike Ride
Join the crew from Bicycle Sport Myers Park at the ride a 60 mile loop
through Mt Holly, Belmont and Cramerton. The pace for the ride is 17 to
18 mph.

Family Bike Ride
Family eleven mile bike ride on mostly residential streets through Myers
Park and Dilworth sections of the Queen City and organized by Larry
Anderson and the Dirt Divas. Not flat, but no long or steep hills.
Families most welcome but kids under 16 must be accompanied by a
responsible adult. HELMETS are MANDATORY!
